Homemade Béchamel sauce simmered evenly without spewing out of the pot. Cleanup was a breeze. Obviously very high quality.Great quality. Cleans easily. Good no stick coating. Have to get used to not turning the burner heat above half to heat it. Excellent handle strength and design-Does not get hot. Canno comment on longevity yet. Purchased as a Christmas gift for my wife. Informed was not a very romantic gift.If you love to cook, hate the hassle of cleaning stuck food off cookware and are also worried about the dangers of cooking on scratched old Teflon pots and pans, then this line is for you. Also if you have an induction cooktop, this particular product line/series is a must as we know most of the cookware sold today is aluminum only and won't work. I have other items of ScanPan for years and they wear beautifully. Obviously expensive versus standard cookware but they will last and also perform consistently as you desire.This particular pan is exactly as described.
