It's beautiful and adds a touch of elegance to an outdoor brunch, tea party, etc. Many holders can do that, however. The reason I wanted this one is that it holds napkins in place even if a breeze springs up. I have chased napkins in the past, lol. I haven't had an outdoor event since purchasing this, but I'm confident it will work as intended.
