My sink has somewhat of a texture to it, so a regular sponge holder with the suction cups won't stick. I tried for 3 months, and gave up in frustration. THIS however, attaches to the faucet and the sponge or towel can dry with air circulating around it, and it's big enough to hold a small bottle of dishsoap as well.Now, the sizes of the faucet that it will fit will really matter. My faucet is a bit bigger than the size actually intended, but I can screw it into place. I expect that I will lose some of the "swivel" functionality and it could break easily with more pressure than it was designed, so if you have a bigger faucet and try it anyway, keep that in mind. I am willing to take that risk because this is that awesome of an idea and product.To make this better, I wish they would make it more expandable to fit the larger faucets that are more and more "standard", and my hope is that they will.
